This report was mentioned in Tafsir al-Tabari with two different wordings from Qatadah and Aisha, may Allah be pleased with them both. Both wordings have weak chains of narration (isnad). The first is mursal (missing the companion in the chain) from Qatadah, and the second is munqati' (broken chain) because Ibn Jurayj did not meet Aisha, and there is another weakness in its chain. Al-Albani declared the hadith weak. Furthermore, another report from Aisha mentioning the palms (kaffayn) was also reported and similarly deemed weak.
