Is it permissible for a resident in Saudi Arabia to perform 'Umrah and dedicate its reward to a person who is not a resident in Saudi Arabia, and is this valid if done by a woman for a man?

For the performance of Umrah on behalf of another person (istinabah) to be permissible, three conditions must be met: the permission of the person on whose behalf it is performed if they are alive, performing Umrah for oneself first, and that the person for whom Hajj is being performed is physically incapacitated with an infirmity that is not expected to cease. However, if the Umrah is performed with the intention of donating the reward without the intention of istinabah (performing on behalf of someone), then some scholars, such as Malik and Shafi'i, see no objection to it.
