Does lying on a CV—as the only means of attracting employers—make the earned salary unlawful (haram)?

Lying in a CV is forgery and deception, which is Islamically forbidden, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿So shun lying speech﴾ and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever deceives is not of us." Forgery includes deception in documents and imitating signatures with the intent to deceive and lie, and the perpetrator bears its sin. If the employee masters the work and performs it as required, there is no sin upon him regarding the salary paid to him, because the salary is paid in exchange for the well-executed work, not the certificate or the CV.
