Is it permissible to lie out of necessity in order to obtain a job?

Lying on a CV is forgery and deception, which are forbidden by Islamic law. Sustenance is in the hands of Allah alone, and a person will only attain what has been decreed for them. Happiness comes from faith and contentment. Do not grieve or despair, and look to those who are less fortunate than you. Seek help from Allah through supplication in the last third of the night, and with the narrated supplications such as: "O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant..." and "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow...". Increase your acts of seeking forgiveness, for it is a means of attracting sustenance, and adhere to the fear of Allah; for whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for them and provide for them from where they do not expect. Do not seek sustenance through disobeying Allah, for what is with Allah cannot be attained except through obedience to Him, and whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate them with something better.
