Is it permissible to perform ablution (wudu') before the prayer time for someone who is obligated to perform ablution for every prayer?

Scholars differed regarding the ruling on ablution for a person afflicted with سلس (incontinence):

Ahmad, Al-Shafi'i, Abu Thawr, and the People of Opinion held that such a person should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, citing the hadith of the woman with irregular bleeding (mustahadah): "She should perform ablution at the time of every prayer." They view this purification as time-bound, similar to tayammum (dry ablution).

Malik, Ikrimah, and Rabi'ah, however, maintained that such a person performs one ablution and prays with it as long as their ablution is not invalidated by anything other than the سلس itself. They cite the hadith of Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh, where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not command her to perform ablution for every prayer.

The first view is more cautious, and according to it, a person afflicted with سلس should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun.
