How does Islam regulate the social relationship between spouses, and between the wife and the husband's mother, if they live in the same house, with an emphasis on the rights and duties of each party?

Islam has given every rightful person their due, and has enjoined great rights upon parents, especially the mother, who has the priority in good companionship three times before the father. The wife also has rights and duties upon her husband, including living together amicably and having independent housing. The husband must fulfill the rights of his mother and wife completely, without negligence, while giving the mother extra care. The wife must obey her husband in what is right, and her honoring of her husband's mother is considered honoring the husband and a sign of good companionship, but she is not obligated to obey her.
