Is the charity and kinship of one who is inconsistent in his prayers accepted, or is it rejected due to his failure to complete them?

Negligence in prayer is a grave sin. Allah has threatened the negligent with Al-Ghayy (a valley in Hell). A group of scholars even went so far as to declare one who intentionally misses a single prayer without a valid excuse a disbeliever. The obligation is sincere repentance and adherence to prayer. There is no compensatory prayer (qada’) for one who intentionally abandons it due to its being an act of disbelief (kufr), as stated in the fatwas of the Permanent Committee, who cited the hadiths: "The covenant between us and them is prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved," and "Between a man and disbelief and polytheism is the abandonment of prayer."

As for the good deeds of a disbeliever before embracing Islam, they will be rewarded for them if he converts to Islam and his Islam is good, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying to Hakim ibn Hizam: "You have embraced Islam upon the good deeds you did previously," and his saying: "When a disbeliever embraces Islam and his Islam is good, Allah will record for him every good deed he did before." The jurists' view that a disbeliever's acts of worship are not counted for him in this world does not contradict him receiving reward for them in the afterlife if he embraces Islam.
