Is it permissible to say: "I have memorized Al-Baqarah" as an abbreviation without mentioning the word "Surah"?

There is no harm in saying: "I have memorized Al-Baqarah" without mentioning the word "Surah," as it has been ورد in prophetic hadiths and books of exegesis to use the word "Al-Baqarah" alone to refer to Surah Al-Baqarah. Examples include Aisha's (may Allah be pleased with her) saying: "When the end of Al-Baqarah was revealed," and Hudhayfah's saying: "He began with Al-Baqarah," and the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Recite the two luminous ones: Al-Baqarah and Surah Al-Imran," and "I was given the concluding verses of Al-Baqarah." Al-Zamakhshari permitted this, citing similar examples in linguistic usage.
