What is the meaning of "ولا تنسوا الفضل بينكم" (and do not forget the favor among yourselves) in Surat Al-Baqarah, and what is its relation to the verses before and after it?

This sentence is an anacoluthon connected to His, the Almighty’s, saying: "And that you pardon is nearer to piety." Its meaning is to encourage the use of grace and not to neglect it. It came after encouraging pardon and clarifying its importance, then mentioning the observance of Allah Almighty with His saying: "Indeed, Allah is Seeing of what you do."
