Is it permissible to sell and sew short women's dresses, by analogy with the Prophet's gift of a silk garment to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) for him to gift it, and does this apply to selling cigarettes, women's trousers, and immodest swimsuits, taking into account the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression"?

The hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim indicates the permissibility of trading clothes that are permissible to use in some ways but not in others, and the permissibility of gifting and donating them. This includes everything that can be used in a permissible or forbidden manner, such as jewelry, weapons, and grapes. The owner must use them in a permissible way. However, anything that is forbidden in all circumstances, such as intoxicants and drugs, is not permissible to trade or gift.
