How many Rak'ahs are there in the Witr and 'Ishā' Sunnah prayers according to the Hanafi school of thought?

The Witr prayer, according to the Hanafis, consists of three continuous rak'ahs with a tashahhud in the second rak'ah, without salutation. The salutation is given in the third rak'ah. This is based on what Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform Witr with three rak'ahs, not giving the salutation except at their very end.
