What is the ruling on some satellite channels abridging the explanation of verses from the Holy Quran and omitting some words from it?

Alterations in interpretation and the truncation of parts thereof, whether unintentional or due to the actions of some individuals involved in the work, if they distort the meaning, fall under the category of lying about Allah and His Messenger. This is based on Allah's saying: "So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it comes to him?" and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever intentionally lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire."
