Is the Qur'an a translation of God's words, based on His saying, the Most High: "Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an"?

The Qur'an is the uncreated Word of Allah; rather, it is one of His attributes. Allah spoke it in reality and made Gabriel hear it, and Gabriel brought it down to Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. This is the doctrine of the Salaf. It is not correct to say that it is a translation of the Word of Allah. The verse (Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an) does not mean creation, but rather means "making it into," i.e., "We made it Arabic," similar to His saying, the Most High: (Indeed, We sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an). The verb "ja'ala" (make/render) comes in two forms: the first meaning "create" if it takes one object, and the second meaning "to render/make into" if it takes two objects.
