What is the ruling on poor concentration in prayer, abandoning the Sunnah prayers and Night Vigil (Qiyam al-Layl), and sometimes sleeping through the husband's needs due to childcare and exhaustion?

A Muslim must balance the rights due upon him without excess or negligence. He should give his children their rights in upbringing and care, his husband his rights in obedience, intimacy, and service, and himself his right to rest. Along with these rights, the right of Allah takes precedence over all of them, which is that He be worshipped and that worship be sincere to Him alone. The sagacious person is he who combines and balances these rights, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, your Lord has a right over you, and your body has a right over you, and your family has a right over you, and your guest has a right over you. So give everyone who has a right his due." One should not become preoccupied with the matter of a young child to the exclusion of other rights, especially prayer and the husband's right. As for Sunnah prayers and night vigils, they are not obligatory like the fard (prescribed) duties, but they are a cause for Allah's love.
