What is the ruling on establishing the Eid prayer in a rented indoor hall instead of the mosques, and is that considered an innovation (bid'ah) or not?

Muslims must respect one another and cooperate in righteousness and piety. When there is disagreement in religious matters, imams should engage in dialogue and mutual advice away from the public and the media, and refer to Allah, the authoritative texts, and scholars to block the path of Satan. Indeed, love, communication, and mutual advice are reasons for Allah's love.

Moreover, the Sunnah is for the Eid prayer to be performed in the musalla (open prayer ground), due to the practice of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the Righteous Caliphs after him. The majority of scholars have adopted this view, and prayer in the mosque is not valid unless there is a necessity.

Those who disagree can supplicate to Allah with the prayer that the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to begin his prayers: "O Allah, Lord of Jibreel, Mika'eel, and Israfeel, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants concerning that wherein they differ. Guide me to the truth concerning that wherein they have differed, by Your permission. Verily, You guide whom You will to a straight path."
