Is it permissible for a woman to stay overnight at her grandmother's house if her husband dies, especially if he had given her permission to stay at her grandmother's house after his death, and if she is responsible for caring for animals and crops there?

A woman observing the 'iddah (waiting period) is not permitted to move from her deceased husband's house until her 'iddah concludes (four months and ten days, or upon delivery for a pregnant woman). This is only permissible in cases of compelling necessity, such as fear for her life, property, or honor, or the cessation of livelihood. However, fear for animals or crops does not constitute a necessity that permits her to spend the night outside the house. She can appoint someone to care for them, or she can care for them during the day and return to spend the night in her home. The husband's permission before his death to spend the night outside the house does not validate such an act, as the 'iddah is a right owed to Allah.
