What is the ruling on using two-dimensional images in logo design, knowing that images that do not include facial features are permissible, and does this differ in ruling from three-dimensional images and statues?

It is forbidden to draw and photograph living beings due to the severe warnings against those who do so. There is no difference between two-dimensional and three-dimensional images. Exceptions to this prohibition include: effacing the head of the image, or if it lacks facial features such as eyes, nose, and mouth, or if they are expressive images in which real facial features do not appear, or drawing the body without the head. What is prohibited in drawing is showing the parts of the face in such a way that the viewer recognizes it as the face of a living being.
