What is the ruling on drawing a face with full features, or drawing a person with unrealistic features (circles for eyes, a rectangle for a nose, etc.), or without features, or drawing skulls and skeletons, or drawing animate beings with a mask or glasses instead of features, or for use in advertisements and logos, or drawing them cartoonishly with unreal features such as a dot inside a circle for an eye?

Drawing animate beings that are complete in their creation is prohibited according to the majority of scholars. Exceptions to this include toys for small children, images that are incomplete in their creation (such as a head only, or skulls and skeletons), or those where the facial features are not clear (no customary eyes, nose, or mouth). However, drawing a face with all its features is permissible. It is not permissible to use complete drawings in advertisements or company logos.
