Is it permissible to make the call to prayer (adhan) in the forest with the intention that the trees and stones bear witness for the muezzin on the Day of Resurrection, and then return home to pray, or must the adhan be made at the place of prayer?

It is recommended for a person who is alone in a wilderness to raise his voice with the Adhan (call to prayer) when the prayer time arrives, due to the reward of every listener bearing witness for him. There is no evidence for the permissibility of going to the wilderness specifically to make the Adhan and then returning to pray at home.
