Does what happened to the questioner before he received the fatwa permitting the return to one's wife during her 'iddah, which states that divorce does not occur from a person with waswas, affect the possibility of acting upon the fatwa that divorce does not occur during the 'iddah?

It has been previously clarified that the divorce of one afflicted by obsessive doubts (Al-Waswas) due to these doubts is not valid. However, if the divorce is by his own choice, he should act according to what reassures his heart and follow the fatwa of someone he trusts, without moving between different muftis. A waswasi's seeking a fatwa might increase his obsessive doubts. Therefore, he is advised to abandon these obsessive thoughts and directly consult scholars regarding what is unclear to him.
