How can one supplicate for provision and a righteous spouse with the certainty that Allah knows best what is good, and is it better to supplicate for everything one wishes for, or to suffice with supplicating for Allah's grace and seeking forgiveness?

Allah commanded supplication (Du'a), saying: "And your Lord said: 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.'" And whoever does not ask of Allah, He becomes angry with him. Supplication is the best form of worship, and the supplicant should have a good opinion of Allah and supplicate with certainty of being answered. In case of hesitation regarding a matter, one can supplicate: "O Allah, if this matter is good for me, then make it easy for me."
