Is the wife sinful for severing ties between her daughters and the family of her deceased husband, given that the husband's family does not inquire about the daughters and there are minor disagreements?

The womb (kinship ties) that must be maintained is restricted to relatives with whom marriage is prohibited (such as fathers and mothers, grandfathers and grandmothers, brothers and sisters, children, paternal uncles and aunts, and maternal uncles and aunts). Accordingly, maintaining ties with the husband's mother and sister is obligatory for the two aforementioned daughters, and this is achieved through visits, asking about them, giving gifts, and the like. As for the questioner, she is not obligated to maintain ties with her husband's mother or their sister unless they are among those with whom maintaining ties is obligatory, while noting the prohibition of estrangement between Muslims.
