Is it permissible for an employee to refuse to wear the uniform and tie requested by his manager at work?

As for shaving the beard, it is forbidden, and there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. If the superior orders one to shave the beard, it is not permissible to obey him unless non-obedience would result in an unbearable harm. If it is known that the superior gradually moves an employee from bad to worse, it is preferable to leave the job and seek another.
