A man's statement to his wife, "As you wish," or "Do as you please," coupled with "and do good when you sit down," does not constitute divorce. This is because it does not indicate separation, neither directly nor indirectly. Its utmost implication is his dislike for his wife and his desire for her to sit away from him. A mere wish or desire for divorce is not considered a divorce.
