What is the ruling on someone who said to certain individuals, "The Qur'an blinds them," or "The words (meaning the Qur'an) take them," or "I give them the words (meaning the Qur'an)," without thinking about what he said, then realized that it might not be permissible? And what is the ruling on someone who repeated these statements in the past without thinking or knowing their permissibility?

This statement is clearly wrong, for the Quran guides people and enlightens them to know the will of Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to call people, warn them, and purify them with it. Allah Almighty said: "Say, 'I only warn you by revelation'," and "And this Quran has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whoever it reaches." The Prophet used to recite the Quran to people to invite them to Allah, and through it, he brought the Companions out of the darkness of ignorance into the light of faith. Allah may punish some disbelievers by depriving them of guidance from the Quran due to their disbelief. Allah Almighty said: "Say, 'It is, for those who believe, a guidance and a cure.' And those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness." The Quran is the speech of Allah Almighty, and it is correct to apply the term "speech" to it, but not in a derogatory sense, for it is the best speech absolutely.
