Attention must be paid to the difference between harmful and beneficial imagination, and one must beware of the devil's steps that open the doors to evils through imaginings, as an evil thought can stir the desire for disobedience. The heart is affected by thoughts that enter it from the five senses or from within, such as anger, lust, and imagination, and they transport it from one state to another.
