Is it permissible to perform Hajj through an intermediary if there is no financial compensation involved?

The questioner's eagerness to perform the Hajj rituals is commendable. Interceding to facilitate one's departure for Hajj this year is permissible, as there is a prophetic command regarding intercession in matters of goodness, as stated by the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Intercede, and you will be rewarded," and as Allah Almighty says: "Whoever intercedes with a good intercession will have a share from it." However, Hajj must not come at the expense of another's right, because that is forbidden injustice. So, if another person's name will be removed to replace them with the questioner, then that is not permissible. But if the questioner's name will be added without harming anyone, then it is permissible.
