Is it permissible for me to fast on consecutive days, including Friday?

It is disliked to single out Friday for fasting unless it coincides with a habitual fast. This dislike is negated by fasting a day before or a day after it. It is permissible to fast consecutive days that include Friday, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Do not single out the night of Friday among the nights for prayer, nor single out the day of Friday among the days for fasting, unless it coincides with a fast that one of you habitually observes."
