What is the ruling on one who deliberately makes a worshiper laugh?

Prayer holds a magnificent status; it is the pillar of faith and the first thing a servant will be judged upon on the Day of Resurrection. Islam has commanded its preservation under all circumstances. Therefore, whoever deliberately makes others laugh during prayer does not respect the sanctity of this glorious act of worship. There are prohibitions against raising one's voice with the Quran and legal supplications, and severe warnings have been issued against those who pass in front of a worshipper for fear of disturbing them. Thus, it is even more imperative to prohibit anyone who does so with the intention of disturbing and invalidating the prayer.
