What is the ruling on women performing Tarawih prayers in mosques? Please enlighten us, and may you be rewarded.

It is permissible for women to attend Tarawih prayers in mosques if there is no fear of temptation (fitnah), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from Allah's mosques." However, a woman's prayer in her home is better, based on his saying: "And their homes are better for them." It is obligatory for any woman who comes to the mosque to be covered, veiled, not displaying her adornment, not perfumed, not raising her voice, and not showing any of her beauty. The Sunnah for them is to stay behind men and keep a distance from them, and to start with the last row, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The best rows for men are the first ones, and the worst are the last ones. And the best rows for women are the last ones, and the worst are the first ones." They should also leave the mosque immediately after the Imam's salutation, unless there is an excuse.
