Does changing the reprehensible (munkar) mean leaving the place where it occurs, or staying and detesting it and condemning it in one's heart?

Denouncing evil (munkar) has levels: by hand, for those in authority and those who have the power; by tongue, for offering advice and guidance; and by heart, for those who are unable to do otherwise, and this is the weakest of faith. If the legitimate benefit (maslaha shar'iyya) is weightier, the Muslim should remain with his denouncement. Otherwise, he should abandon them to protect his religion.
