Is it acceptable to offer one makeup prayer daily, as well as voluntary prayers (such as salat al-tahiyyah for entering the mosque or two rak'ahs of voluntary prayer in place of the Dhuhr prayer as a makeup) if a Muslim is unable to make up all missed prayers due to fatigue?

Making up missed prayers takes precedence over performing supererogatory prayers. Therefore, one must strive to make them up. Maliki jurists are of the opinion that it is sufficient to make up two days' worth of prayers each day, and if one is unable, then they should make up what they can. It is not permissible to engage in supererogatory prayers while there are missed prayers to be made up, except for what some scholars have

exempted, such as the regular sunnah (definition) prayers (rawatib) or the sunnah prayers of Fajr and Witr. Missed prayers that are made up are acceptable, but a person incurs sin if they fall short in making them up while being capable of doing more. Making up prayers that were intentionally omitted is a matter of scholarly disagreement, but the more cautious approach is to make them up.
