Will you bear the sins of your children and grandchildren if they apostatize from Islam after you move to live in Japan?

Residing in lands of disbelievers is fraught with dangers, especially for children. Parents are responsible for raising their children and protecting them from deviation, based on the Almighty's saying: (O YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, PROTECT YOURSELVES AND YOUR FAMILIES FROM A FIRE) [At-Tahrim/6], and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: (ALL OF YOU ARE SHEPHERDS AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FLOCK).

It is not permissible for parents to move their children to lands of disbelievers unless they are compelled to do so. If they are compelled, they must choose a country where Muslims are numerous, Islamic rituals are manifest, and there are private schools for Muslims. They must also commit to teaching their children religion and the Quran.

If these conditions are met, there is no sin upon them if the children deviate. However, if the environment is conducive to deviation, the father is responsible for his children's deviation because he brought them to this evil, and he is sinful.
