The ruling on a Muslim's emigration from lands of disbelief to lands of Islam varies according to circumstances. Obedience to parents in what is right and lawful is one of the most obligatory duties. Therefore, if they command their son to emigrate from lands of disbelief to a Muslim country, he must obey them, unless there is great harm in it for him.
