Is someone who dies on a Friday as a result of a car accident, and who uttered the Shahada before his death, considered a martyr, despite his lack of commitment to prayer and reading the Quran?

We ask for intercession and a good ending for this person because of the severity of his death and his utterance of the two testimonies (Shahadatayn) before his passing, in addition to the fact that abandoning prayer is not considered disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam according to the majority of scholars.
