If your father breaks his fast in Ramadan, is it permissible to prepare food for him?

If the father acknowledges the obligation of fasting but intentionally breaks it without an excuse, then he should be advised, and prayers should be made for his uprightness, and help should be sought from those who have an influence on him.

Breaking the fast in Ramadan intentionally by sexual intercourse necessitates the major expiation. As for breaking it by other means, such as eating and drinking, it only necessitates making up the missed fasts, according to most scholars.

It is not permissible to assist the father in breaking his fast in Ramadan intentionally by any means, because that is considered assisting in sin, which is forbidden by Islamic law.
