What is the ruling on a father preparing food for his son who is not fasting during the daytime in Ramadan?

It is not permissible to offer food during the daytime in Ramadan except to those with a legitimate excuse, such as the sick and the traveler. It is not permissible to feed those who do not have an excuse, whether they are Muslims or disbelievers. Disbelievers are obligated by the branches of Islamic law, and they must fast. Their refraining from fasting is an act of disobedience that must not be aided. Scholars have forbidden selling food to a disbeliever during the daytime in Ramadan.
