Why have languages multiplied in the world, even though the origin of all nations is one, from Adam and Eve?

Allah knows best the wisdom behind the diversity of languages, but we believe that our Lord is All-Wise and All-Knowing. This diversity might be an indication of His immense power, or there might be other wisdoms that we do not comprehend.
