What is seen in a dream cannot be judged, for dreams are of three types: terrors from Satan, what a person thinks about while awake, and one part of forty-six parts of prophethood. A righteous dream is glad tidings from Allah, a dream that causes sadness is from Satan, and a dream is what a person talks to himself about.
