Is it permissible to remove alcohol cans and bottles from public places such as streets and parks?

Removing alcohol cans from the road is a legitimate act of removing harm, especially if the intention is for children not to see them, lest their hearts become attached to them. This is indicated by the general meaning of the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "And removing harm from the road is charity," and his saying: "Faith has seventy-odd branches, the highest of which is saying 'There is no god but Allah,' and the lowest of which is removing harm from the road."
