Are there circumstances similar to ribbon-cutting in Islamic eras that are specific to Islamic inaugurations?

There is no basis or benefit in imitating foreign countries by launching projects. Islam came with istikharah (seeking guidance from God) before commencing work, and praying for blessing and success, followed by sincerity and dedication in work, treating relatives and strangers equally, avoiding deception, injustice, and trickery, fulfilling trusts, completing tasks seeking reward [from God] and benefiting Muslims, performing acts of worship, doing good deeds, and abstaining from prohibitions. When this is achieved, growth, success, abundant profit, and goodness are hoped for.
