What is the ruling on a Muslim describing himself as despicable, cheap, and disobedient, and rejecting praise and supplication on the grounds of unworthiness?

A Muslim should be humble and belittle himself for the sake of Allah, but cursing and reviling oneself is prohibited, as it is an obscenity. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The believer is not a slanderer, nor a curser, nor an obscene speaker, nor an evil speaker," and "Abusing a Muslim is فسوق (disobedience/sinfulness)." Likewise, one should avoid describing oneself with dispraised attributes, based on his, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "There is no evil example for us," so one should say: "My soul has become impure (لاقست نفسي)" instead of "My soul has become wicked (خبثت نفسي)." Furthermore, publicly denouncing oneself can be an entry point for hidden ostentation. As for refusing to supplicate on the grounds of unworthiness, this is reprehensible, for supplication is pure good. Indeed, supplication for a disbeliever is permissible, so how much more for a disobedient Muslim? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated for Abu Jahl and Umar for guidance, and he supplicated for the young man who sought to commit fornication for forgiveness and purity of heart.
