Is it permissible for someone who came to Mecca for a wedding and then intended to perform Umrah to enter into the state of Ihram for Umrah from the Mosque of Sayyidah Aisha?

Whoever passes by the miqat intending Hajj or Umrah must enter into ihram from it. If one passes the miqat without ihram, the Umrah is valid, but he must offer a sacrifice (a sheep) in Mecca and distribute it among its poor. This is because entering into ihram from the miqat is an obligation (wajib) and not a pillar (rukn), and its omission is compensated for by a blood sacrifice.
