Is turning off a Quran recitation on the radio or television to listen to the news or read newspapers considered a turning away from the remembrance of Allah, and what is the solution in this case?

There is no harm in listening to the news and reading newspapers instead of broadcasting the Quran, for everything has its time. This is not considered turning away from the Quran or abandoning it if the believer has other times when they read or listen to the Quran.
