What is the ruling on not spending the night in Mina, and suffice with stoning the Jamarat, then spending the night in Mecca, followed by circumambulation and departure?

If the pilgrim abandons spending the night in Mina due to an excuse, then there is nothing binding upon him. However, if it is without an excuse, then whoever abandons spending the night for one or two nights owes a Mudd of food for each night. And whoever abandons spending the night altogether—whether he hastens or delays—owes a compensatory sacrifice (Dam) according to the majority of jurists. The Dam is slaughtered in Mecca and distributed to its poor. The measure of a Mudd is approximately 750 grams.
