What should a engaged girl do, who along with her fiancé, is awaiting a scholarship abroad, and she is unable to prevent her fiancé from visiting her at home, especially after she learned that his visits to her at her home are wrong?

If what is meant by "khitbah" (engagement) is the marriage contract, then there is no harm in the husband visiting his wife. However, if what is meant by "khitbah" is merely the viewing (of the prospective bride), then it is not permissible for the suitor to see the prospective bride again or to enter upon her, because she is a stranger to him until the contract is concluded. He was only permitted the first viewing to remove ambiguity and ignorance. Muslims must not be lenient in these matters to avoid their negative consequences.
