Is it permissible to clean the vagina with a finger after the red discharge has disappeared to expedite intercourse for the purpose of conception, and is intercourse in this case considered permissible (halal)?

A woman's purity is recognized by one of two signs: dryness (jufuf) or the white discharge (al-qassah al-bayda'). If red blood stops and is followed by a yellowish or brownish discharge, this is considered menstruation, and intercourse is not permissible until all discharges cease. However, if a woman observes dryness and performs ghusl, and then a yellowish or brownish discharge appears, it is not considered menstruation. There is another opinion that yellowish and brownish discharges are not considered menstruation at all, as chosen by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. According to this view, it is permissible to perform ghusl and have intercourse after the cessation of red blood, even if there is a yellowish or brownish discharge. A woman should follow the fatwa of a scholar in whom she trusts.
