Is it advisable to sell the apartment and return to renting, or to rent out the current apartment and rent a cheaper one, and are attempts to search for work in an Arab country in order to return to it considered correct?

It is not permissible to take out a loan with usury to buy a house, because renting accommodation is not a necessity that permits what is forbidden, and one must repent from that. If selling the apartment purchased with a usurious loan leads to the cancellation of the remaining usurious interest, then it is obligatory to sell it to exit the usurious transaction, based on the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of usury, if you should be believers." However, if the interest remains, there is no obligation to sell it, and one may dispose of it by selling, renting, or residing in it, as the loan, after being received, becomes the property of the borrower.
