Does the father's consumption of ill-gotten gains affect his children, especially regarding diseases that may afflict them, taking into consideration the principle of "no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another"?

This illness is not a punishment for the poor, compelled son; rather, it is a trial and a test for him, because he did not commit anything forbidden, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: "unless you are compelled to do so."

As for the father who earns unlawfully, his son's illness may be a punishment for him due to his unlawful earnings, as was mentioned by Al-Alaa ibn Badr. The afflicted person may be punished through the illness of someone he loves, and the illness does not necessarily have to be a punishment for the afflicted person himself; rather, it may be a trial and a test of his patience.
