Is it permissible for listeners to say "Allah," "Allahu Akbar," and "Sareekh Allah Allah" upon hearing the recitation of the Holy Quran and becoming engrossed in it?

It was not from the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from the righteous predecessors, to utter sounds of tahlil (declaring "La ilaha illa Allah") and takbir (declaring "Allahu Akbar") upon hearing a recitation. Had it been good, they would have preceded us to it. Innovating such a practice as a means of drawing closer to Allah is a reprehensible innovation that must be abandoned, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected." However, if something of that occurs by accident without intention, then we hope there is no harm in it.
